This product is a first pass at creating a follow up on NOOT, which has been my design case study for the past two years. The goal of this new product (a good name is welcome) is to support the process of how in a group session a shared understanding slowly grows over time, as the participants are busy in a brainstorm or design session. Instead of focusing on a tool that supports creativity per se, this tool builds on the stuff that happens ‘around’ the ideas. It tracks what people did in order to get to an idea, how they talked about it, what activities they were engaged in, also what they did what ‘happened’, so to speak.
